Prometheus was chosen for his size, length and conformation and also to introduce new blood into the herd from his sire, Nightingale Perry. His dam also has Blelack Lord Hornblower in her close pedigree, giving us an unusual combination of genetics. She also has one of the top calves every year and is a likely flush candidate for that reason.
