Erasmus had a hard start to life as he was separated from this mother (a 2YO heifer) when she calved and when we paired him up in the morning she rejected him. He was fed milk until 3 months old but was then left to pinch as best he could from the rest of the herd. Although he was a bonnie calf, we did not expect to keep him. However, when we took him in last winter, he motored on and scanned very well, so we thought we'd give him a chance. A stylish Peter Pershore son.
Falstaff is a very correct Haymount Willinger son out of one of the most consistent cows we have bred. INKSTACK FLHAME E203 calved her first as a 2YO on 13/3/07 and her 10th calf on 17/3/16. Her first calf went on to breed in pedigree herds and her last heifer was the top heifer calf of 2013. Falstaff is an easy fleshing more traditional type, with a thick deep body.
Everest is a good thick shapey bull of medium frame. His dam is a consistent breeder of calves with good conformation and she milks exceptionally well from a lovely tight udder.
Powerhouse is a thick deep bodied traditional type bull with a "New Zealand" look about him. His mother is arguably our top cow at present, a daughter of RANUI W IMPACT 762 Powerhouse had the top average daily LWG at scanning of 1.7 Kg per day since birth. He is an easy doing bull who's figures match his performance.
Powerpack's dam has left a nice line of easy caving good milking females in the herd and sold bulls to £5,500 off the farm. Powerpack is the youngest of this years bulls and was spent early as a calf. He has good length and conformation .
